The weather may be hot but that hasn’t slowed the action. The past few weeks have been filled with good number days on the river! The smallies seem to have little preference to which fly they want. Poppers, streamers and the occasional dry fly have all been producing good sized fish. With little rain and high temperatures in the forecast the popper bite will be in full swing this week. Poppers, divers and sliders…. O my!

The dog days of summer are hear and and the smallmouth love it! Now is a great time to book that trip and enjoy some hot smallmouth action. We all will be wishing for this temperature when its January and 5 degrees outside.
