March- May: Early season pre-spawn Smallmouth & Carp. This is when we catch the largest Smallmouth and is your best shot at trophy fish in the 19-21 inch class on streamers. Carp are sight fished in the shallows at this time with small streamers.

June- July: Great time of year to catch numbers of Smallies and prime for sight fished Carp. Top-water Smallmouth fishing really starts to shine at this time, at times working from start to finish. Carp can be caught utilizing both streamer and top water tactics during this period.

August- September: Typically this is low water Smallmouth and those interested in sight fishing will find this an especially exciting time. Longer casts and smaller streamers or top water bugs such as hoppers and small poppers take the majority of fish. Carp remain a strong option for those wanting to test their skills and are willing to hike around in search for players.

October- December: Late season Smallmouth will be in play for as long as we have overnight lows in the 40s or above. Comfortable fishing and beautiful fall scenery. Pike become a viable option as their activity levels increase with falling water temps.
