BIO:
Ever since fly fishing as a boy with his dad and brothers, Ken has been hooked. He studied music and oboe performance at Goshen College and Northwestern University, then returned to Idaho with a dream to combine his passions for music and fishing.
He's done this, spending thirty summers as a fly-fishing guide on the South Fork of the Snake, and four years on the Owyhee, along with thirty-four years of performing with the Boise Philharmonic Orchestra. Ken Burkholder is a prolific fly tier and innovator.
Ken is responsible for some truly spectacular patterns, like the Bear back Rider and the Riffle Robber.
