Ed McCoy’s Mouse is a proven night-fishing pattern designed to imitate the ever-present deer mouse. Built on the same foundation as the Amphibious Assault, this mouse fly combines natural materials and synthetic brushes to create a realistic silhouette with plenty of movement. A wiggle tail and foam head push water and create an enticing surface profile, while the articulated hook-to-shank connection adds lifelike movement and helps improve hookups. Designed with trophy trout in mind, McCoy’s Mouse is a great choice for anglers hunting big browns after dark, but don't overlook it when targeting aggressive topwater smallmouth bass.
