MFC Galloup's Belly Bumper Hook

Designed by Kelly Galloup for modern streamer fishing, the MFC Galloup’s Belly Bumper Hook is a specialized keel-style hook built for tying large baitfish imitations and weed-resistant streamers. Inspired by the classic Mustad 79666 Keel Hook, this design features a keel bend and vertical ring eye to help flies ride hook-point-up and track properly through the water. The deeper hook gap provides additional clearance for bulky streamer materials, making it an excellent choice for articulated-style baitfish profiles, stacked-hair streamers, and patterns designed to fish around heavy cover. Whether you're targeting trophy brown trout or aggressive smallmouth bass, the Belly Bumper Hook is built for streamers that need to swim right and get the job done.
