Rapala DT 6 Crankbait

The DT® (Dives-To) series of crankbaits is designed to dive fast to a preset depth and stay in the “strike zone” longer than any other crankbait on the market. Crafted from the top seven percent of balsa wood, this consistently perfect material is combined with carefully placed internal weights, a tapered fuselage, and a thin tail design to create the ultimate crankbait action found only in this family of lures.

An ultra-thin polycarbonate lip allows the bait to dig down quickly to the desired depth. Swimming with a distinct side-to-side action that only balsa wood can achieve, these lures crank deep yet pull through the water with ease. Perfectly weighted to rest in a “quick-dive” nose-down position, they allow for immediate descent and can be easily cast up to 150 feet. Simply put, the farther the cast, the longer the bait stays in the strike zone, making it the most effective way to cover more water and catch more fish.

For added attraction, an internal baritone rattle is tuned for peak sound performance. Each lure features premiere finishes with 3D holographic or painted eyes and comes equipped with premium VMC® black nickel hooks. To ensure legendary performance right out of the box, every unit is hand-tuned and tank-tested to swim perfectly.
